Want to do something out of the ordinary for your orchestra program this year?

Exposure to alternative styles and new techniques is the perfect way to help students see beyond the page, develop musicianship, and cultivate new passion for their instruments. Kiana has developed a program to educate, motivate, and inspire your string students – bringing her unique and high energy performance right to where it matters most – the schools.

As highly trained classical violinist as well as a world class fiddler, Kiana also has a passion for teaching. While touring with Barrage, Kiana ran workshops and educational programs all over the United States. Now touring with Gaelic Storm Kiana strives to show and inspire students of violin and all string instruments the many different ways they can use their instruments to make music. With experience in Celtic, Bluegrass, Jazz, and Rock and years of teaching experience Kiana has the background and knowhow to engage students of all kinds and all ages.

“Kiana Weber is a Master fiddler and lights up any stage where she performs. On top of this, her educational work with young people is positively inspiring.”

— Stephen Shipps, Professor of Violin at University of Michigan

The students at Pioneer High School were thrilled to work with Kiana June Weber as a guest artist on our 6th Annual String Fling Concert. Kiana performed with 180 string students in a memorable performance that celebrated eclectic and traditional musical styles in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Kiana worked really well in rehearsals with the students, and left our students feeling inspired.  I highly recommend you consider bringing Kiana in to your school for a workshop or guest appearance!

— Jonathan Glawe, Director of Orchestra, Pioneer High School - Grammy award winning program 2011

As a music educator for 25+ years, it is with pleasure that I recommend  Kiana Weber to other musical organizations for workshops, performances, and as a clinician. Kiana’s sharp expertise, and ability to inspire and motivate our high school string students was priceless.

— Martha Hughes, GPS Orchestra Director, Gilbert Town Fiddlers Founder & Director
